Mollenol & Mollenol Sensitive Pack

Mollenol is not as great as it sounds. Bandaids were too traumatising for our little girl, so we persisted with the oil and clothing to cover it. It took weeks to notice any change on the spots, and even then, only one or two cleared. The worst part was then my daughter’s spots flared up and multiplied - she was covered in them! Response: An inflammatory rash can also occur in areas around the molluscum as well as the molluscum themselves. This is because the molluscum virus has infected a larger area than can be seen easily. A sign of this is that the rash shows up many little bumps (which look like hives) which are very small beginning stage molluscum.

After being told my child will have Molluscum for over a year, I took action in my own hands and googled for any remedies. I tried my luck with ordering Mollenol without expectation. I saw an improvement on my 6yo son in a week and after a month, it was all gone! Amazing!

This product is working.My daughter began seeing bumps 2 years ago. We didn’t want the harsh chemicals. I started with another product which worked-slowly. But, discovered this product through a web search. Her old bumps are drying and shrinking. New bumps are quickly stopped. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars- is the bumps aren’t completely gone. However- my daughter and I are very happy with this product thus far.

Unfortunately this product did not work for us. Response: please persist. Sometimes it takes longer. Some bumps resist, others are covered with a thick layer of skin.

My 7 yr old son had Moluscum since around May. From May to October I took him to 3 doctors who all said the same thing. It will resolve itself in 18-24 months. The last dr we saw was a dermatologist who gave us acne cream, however it was way too strong for my son and took off the top layer of his skin off which made things worse. It seemed to be spreading everywhere fast. I took to the internet as I couldn’t believe there was nothing that could help. Thankfully I came across mollenol. I am in Canada and shipping was amazingly quick. We started using it as directed immediately. Within 2-3 days we saw a huge improvement, and much less inching. We followed the bandaid instructions. My son would have 10-15 bandaids on each night. Within 2 weeks they were gone!! We couldn’t believe the doctors didn’t know about this product. Or they should. I wish I had taken a before picture. We are so grateful to Mollenol , thank you!

Unfortunately didn't work for us. Applied twice a day for 4 weeks. Flared up the rash with hard heads which looked promising but didn't result in any going away. Also flared up my son's eczema to a point I needed to stop applying as was too irritated. Emailed company to ask advice and initial email was answered however after being asked for photos I responded twice and never got a reply. Hoping it heals naturally asap Response: we are happy to assist you. Your follow up files were not received by us. It is possible they we stopped by the mail firewall (too large or suspect). The hard heads you describe is common. It shows that Mollenol has worked and killed off the bumps. Most will not grow larger. Children with eczema are more difficult to treat. The flare up in eczema may be a general immune response. Please send through some more close up photos. Make sure you select the option to reduce their size. Children with eczema generally get more molluscum that last longer. They require more attention. From comparing these photos, the use of bandaids selecting only the largest ones helped this progress. Other molluscum bumps did reduce without bandaids as well. Concern over the flare up of eczema is understandable. At the same time the eczema is connected in these locations to the molluscum. You might approach the situation by only treating a small number of bumps at a time. Even resting for a day or two in-between to allow the eczema to calm down. Inflammation of individual bumps is regarded as a good thing with molluscum treatment. Something which Mollenol encourages and promotes. Note the red rings around some of the bumps in the first picture. The redder the ring the more likely the bumps had reduced or died off in the second picture. Our advice is to persist. Mollenol is working, albeit slowly.

Both my boys have had MC for over a year now, with my eldest getting infections all the time. It was obvious after using Mollenol for a week that it was working. We have been using it once a day for about a month, and both boys are almost clear! I’m so happy with this purchase, I’ll be recommending Mollenol to anyone else who has a child with MC!

I came across this product after disappointingly being told that there was no treatment available for my daughter's molluscum. My younger one took 2 years for it to diminish on its own so I knew that I couldn't just wait this one out with my older one being in school and self conscious of her bumps. I bought this after reading good reviews and started applying it just once a day at bedtime and using a liquid bandaid to cover it up. Many of the bumps have already resolved since using the treatment, and the larger bumps are the only ones that are generally left, which I expected. I am hopeful that it won't be too much longer for the larger bumps to clear up too. But I definitely am certain that this treatment was what helped my older daughter's molluscum start to clear up. UPDATED: I wanted to update my review that I posted. I am so happy to report that my daughter's molluscum has cleared up! I am so grateful for your product.
